This league is for the Average Joe, not stick jockeys. We win games with strategy and by out coaching one another and not by abusing the flaws of the game. CONDUCT 
1.1. Complain in the Chat, you will be warned once, then penalized up to removal 
1.2. Choose not to schedule your games in timely manner may result in punishment/removal 
1.3. Both teams MUST stream 
1.4. Do not spam certain blitzes / plays / routes 
1.5. No shows may result in removal (might only take one, if you can’t make it tell someone. 2 Hour Notice) 
1.6. Do not abuse the rules. Staff takes extensive time to make sure that rules are being followed. There is also a honor system in place 
1.7. Low activity level may result in removal, we hold a high standard. Stay in the chat, schedule your games, create content

SCHEDULING 
2.1. 3 day advance window begins at 9pm EST of the advance day 
2.2. Games should be scheduled and posted in scheduling within first 24 hours of advance time. Advance will be set at 9pm the day after the previous advance 
2.3. Only advance early if ALL SCHEDULED games have been played 
2.4. If two teams have diametrically opposing schedules and one team wants to play the opponents CPU the other will go on AP. If not it will be fair sim 
2.5. If a team no shows for a game and is more than 15 minutes late for a scheduled game with no warning they will receive a force loss 
2.6. No shows will be reviewed for circumstance and could lead to removal from league 
2.7. If a user is unresponsive to your DM, please contact an admin no earlier than four hours after initial contact 
2.8. Proper scheduling should consist of providing your availability for your appointment. Be specific i.e. I can play anytime tonight after 7pm EST or I can play anytime except from 4-6pm. If you are not able to play during the opponent's provided windows please respond with an actual conversation not I cant play. Provide times that you are available. OFFENSE 
3.1. NO custom playbooks (must use a teams playbook) 
3.2. Users are allowed to use catch mechanics: AGG (Y), RAC (X) POSS (A) are allowed. USER CANNOT SWITCH TO THE WR 
3.3. Mix up your Passing plays / Routes. Call a wide variety of plays 
3.4. Nothing should be +33% of your offense 
3.5. Use the WHOLE ROUTE TREE, do not spam one route combo. This is determined by the admins discretion 
3.6. Run plays should consist of mixture of inside/outside runs 
3.7. Strict 70/30 run/pass ratio. Do not bluff this stat at the end of the game, may result in suspensions Certain circumstances like blow-outs may be excused of this rule 
3.8. QB drop backs should not exceed the animation Madden gives you. Once that animation complete you are allowed to move side to side or step up in the pocket…not straight backwards 
3.9. Limit QB Scrambling, Never Snap the Ball and Sprint Outside the Pocket immediately. 

3.10. Do not quick Snap, this includes after you audible and defense is adjusting 
3.11. Quick Snap is allowed only in no-huddle situations 
3.12. Play action rules: a. Canceling Play-Action is not permitted b. Cannot Play-Action in distances longer than: • 1st & 10 • 2nd & 8 • 3rd & 6 
3.13. Limit to 1 hot route a play and do not hot route every play • Hot Routing your HB/TE/WR to block does not count towards your 1 hot route 
3.14. Manual motion is not allowed on offense • When the HB is blocking, you are allowed to move it from one side of the QB to the other. This is the only form of manual motion allowed 3.15. “Swerving” • Sudden Movement to exploit AI coding such as zig-zagging/stop & go/jurdling/ and instant lateral movements are not permitted 
3.16. 4th Down Rules: • Once per Game no rules • Inside Opponents 3-yard Line • 4th and 2 or Less on Opponents side of the field • 2nd half down 17+ • Last 4 minutes of a game and Losing 

 

DEFENSE 
4.1. NO custom playbooks allowed (must use a teams playbook) 
4.2. Users must Strafe while playing Zone (Until ball is in the air) a. If usering the Robber assignment as S, you are allowed to run/sprint to assignment, then strafe 
4.3. No switch when ball is in the air until ball is caught 
4.4. Man to Man, means cover YOUR MAN. Do not leave him when ball is in the air. Only allowed to make a play on the ball in the air, if throw is intended for the receiver you are covering 
4.5. When in deep blue zone, you are allowed to sprint vertically up, but must strafe when moving horizontally or down. 
4.6. Personnel packages to match offensive personnel, outside of Goal line/3rd and Long 
4.7. Mix up your Play calls. If you spam the same Plays/Formations, you will not last long. 
4.8. Strict 70/30 man/zone or vise versa is the max 
4.9. ZERO Pre-Snap movement other than shifting position group Alignment/Shifts 
4.10. Cannot hot route on defense a. Can only hot route out of a blitzer to match the defense’s coverage (man/zone defense) 
4.11. Constant spreading/bunching of defensive line and pressing of defensive backs should not occur 

 

TRADES 
5.1. Teams will be limited to a max of four first round picks for any drafts 
5.2. Trades must be within 15% of each other and cannot exceed 6 assets per side a. Trades can be within 25% of each other, when involving a QB not on their rookie deal with a large cap penalty 
5.3. With 6 trade slots now, trades should not involve more than 4 players on either side. Which means 2 slots are specifically for picks only 
5.4. 10% loss of value for any pick traded 1 year in advance, 20% loss of value for any pick traded 2 years in advance New members are limited in future draft picks eligible for trade 
5.5. Trades should not put in a team over $25 million in any cap year a. Exception May be made in scenarios where teams actually save money from large or backloaded contracts. This will be used in the councils discretion 

5.6. FA deals cannot exceed the number of years being requested by a player and can only be one year less that requested 
5.7. Player cuts and trades in offseason cause the entire cap hit listed to be deducted in that year. It is NOT spread over two years 
5.8. Players on last year of deal can be dealt up until the end of preseason week 4 
5.9. Players re-signed or newly acquired FA/traded for players cannot be traded until the following offseason. Exception a Franchise Tagged player 
5.10. Players who CANNOT BE TRADED. a. 1st Round Rookies for 2 years b. 2nd Round Rookies in 1st year c. Free Agent Signings in 1st year d. Players in the final year of their contract after we begin regular season e. Players who receive an extension cannot be traded till the following season (franchise tag & trade is allowed but must be declared to admins) 
5.11. There will be no trade limit, but it is up to council/admins discretion to void future trades for a user if they do to many big trades in a small period of time. A heads up will be given (won't be a common occurance) 
5.12. Trades cannot be completed in Madden, til they are approved in MyMadden

 

SIM SEASON 
6.1. Starters must make sense and can’t bench vets for younger guys in scenarios where it would not make sense in a regular season. 
6.2. Tanking is off limits, loss of draft picks is a possible penalty 
6.3. Cannot play games during sim season 
6.4. Playoffs will be played, 48 hour advance for each round in the playoffs Sim Season Schedule: Pre-Season Week 1: 24 Hours - Training Camp Week 2: 1 Hour Week 3: 1 Hour Week 4: 24 Hours - 53 Cutdown Stage Regular Season Week 1: 24 Hours - Hire and Assign Scouts Week 2: SIMMED Week 3: 24 Hours - Regional Focus Scouting Week 4 - Week 7: SIMMED Week 8: 24 Hours - Trade Deadline/Scouting National Focus Week 9 - Week 10: SIMMED Week 11: 24 Hours - Scouting Focus Player Week 12 - Week 18: SIMMED Playoffs: 48 Hours Per Round (PLAYED)

 

ROSTER MANAGEMENT 
7.1. Cannot exceed 30$ millions in rollover cap space to start the season (Week 1) 
7.2. Position Changes a. No WR to TE or WR to HB b. 3-4 DE must be 280 lbs or more c. 3-4 DT must be 310 lbs or more d. 3-4 OLB must be 250 lbs or more e. 4-3 DE must be 250 lbs or more f. 4-3 DT must be 280 lbs or more 
7.3. CB to S a. Prior college or pro experience at position b. Or 70 tackle c. Or 70 hit power d. Or 65 strength 
7.4. SS/XF position changes must be approved by staff and can only be changed once. 
7.5. Once changed they must play their new position in the depth chart 
7.6. O-Line Changes a. Tackles can move inside to Guard on the same side only, b. Centers can move to Guard on either side but not Vice versa unless confirmed they previous played that position irl. c. Positions can swap sides LT —> RT. d. SS/XF lineman cannot change positions (Left to Right is allowed) 
7.7. SUB LB Rules a. LB has to be in first Sub LB position in depth chart b. One LB has to be on the field at SUBLB c. Max of one Safety can be on the field as a SUBLB Regression 
7.8. No rookie player can regress below their drafted dev trait after their rookie season. 
7.9. Any player winning a postseason award will not lose dev for the upcoming season. (MVP, OPOTY, DPOTY, OROTY, DROTY) 
7.10. If a player is found stat padding (33%/80%) during the season, regression relief will NOT apply for that player.

8.1. Playbooks will lock at the end of the preseason as well and can only be changed once a team is out of playoff contention. 1 offensive + 1 defensive allowed 
8.2. Offensive play cool down will be set at 6 and max of 3 per game. Defensive play cool down will be set at 4 and max of 5 per game. Staff reserves the right to make decisions in the best interest for the league, regarding trades/roster moves/gameplay
