After a 2-game skid, the 49ers travel to Chicago to visit Da Bears and deliver a shellacking. Lance looked great after throwing 12 INTs the previous 2 weeks. As a matter-o-fact he was perfect. His QBR was 158.3 while he threw for 204 yards, 2 TDs and completed 12 of 15 passes. Sermon averaged 5.3yds/carry with 2-TDs. I was disappointed to not see Westerman more involved, but Kittle only had 1 catch for 25yards as well so maybe they weren't in the game plan. It seems the Niners wanted to get the running going to help limit the turnovers. And we can leave the talk about the offense without mentioning LG- Wanogho who had 6 pancakes! The Niners D really stepped it up as well. They grabbed 4 INTs, 1 sack, and 6 TFL and Amos took 1 of his 2 picks to the crib. The 49ers now get to go into the bye week with a victory before heading to Arizona to take on the division rival Cardinals. Enjoy some time off guys, rest up. Well deserved.
Niners are currently a 6 seed but look to move up as they take on the Rams, the division leader, in week 16.
