The Philadelphia Eagles coming in to this week 5 match up, where they traveled to Arizona were 2-2 and very much an enigma. Having the number 1 defense after week one, only giving up 10 points. To giving up the most points in any game this calendar season (62) to the Minnesota Vikings week 2. Followed by a week 3 game to The Washington commanders. In which 5 interceptions from Jalen hurts, and Commanders Offensive Coordinator drawling up a master class game for Dyami Brown (11 catches/132yards/2touchdown) lead to 37-24 loss. Heading in to Week 4, 1-2 Coach P.Philly made a decision to trade for Devin Bush. Which paid off in his first game as Eagle, snagging an interception for a touchdown in a much need home win vs the Jacksonville Jaguars. Hurts also preformed well after the disastrous game in D.C by contributing 4 total touchdowns 3 passing 1 rushing in a 52-29 victory. All this being said, no one knew how this game in Arizona would turn out. Or that it would come down to seconds left in OT. With a massively clutch catch from ironically ex Arizona Cardinal Andy Isabella (5catches/153yards), leading to the game winning 19 yard field goal by Jake Elliot (3/3 55yard longest) making the final 51-48. Hurts who had over 400 yards passing had another horrific Touchdown to interception ratio only throwing one touchdown to yet another FIVE interceptions. If not from a strong game from Miles Sanders (16 carries/137yards/4touchdowns) and yet again Devin Bush (8tck/3tfl/.5sack) The Eagles very much could be 2-3 heading home to week 6 for a division game vs The Dallas Cowboys. Since Devin Bush put on the midnight green he’s racked up (15 total tackles/ 5 tackles for a loss/ 1 interception for a touchdown/ half a sack) in 2 weeks really showing he’s not just a star Devin Bush is a SuperStar. The Philadelphia Eagles sit a 3-2, will have a home game against divisional rival Dallas next week, and we just hope they have finally found their rhythm.
