OUR GOAL
To have a fun, interactive Madden league with 32 actual human users who are committed to playing their games and opposed to being Maj (except for when it is warranted).

Daily communication / game scheduling is done though our GroupMe app. Once registered for the league, you will receive the invitation.
COMMITMENT
All owners should be able to commit to at least three games per week. Each week lasts 1-2 real world days.
JOINING THE LEAGUE
You’ve just taken over a team in the Pure Madden! Congratulations! It’s almost time to clean up the mess that the previous owner left you. But first...
Join the Xbox league:
League Name: Pure Madden Password: (only use a created coach -- no real coach/owner)
Join GroupMe: You can get the APP for iPhone, Android, or go to Groupme.com to use the web based version of the app.
Groupme is where we will all communicate / chat / schedule games, etc. When you are signed in, YOU MUST use either a team name and/or a logo to make sure your opponent can find you in the chat. If you would like a logo, just ask Jayboah and he will make one for you ASAP.
If you are asked multiple times to represent your team in either your chat name or Groupme avatar, you can be punished up to removal from the league.

PRESEASON
Preseason games will not be played. The weeks in the preseason will be ~10 minutes long to do your GamePrep and will start immediately after the draft in order to start the new season.
GENERAL RULES AND REGULATIONS
Roster Regulations
Team roster must have 50 players minimum.
MUST have two (2) or more healthy QBs.
MUST have three (3) TEs or FBs
MUST have nine (9) combined OL
Subbing in an O-Lineman into a TE spot is NOT allowed.
No switching players positions to take advantage of Practice XP
General Game Play Rules
If you are contacted in regards to any of the below infractions, you have that GAME WEEK to correct the issue or face a possible one game suspension. If you are told after you play your game and the league advances, you must make the change before your next game is played. If the issue is not fixed after a warning, you can be removed from the league.
You will receive a warning and given an opportunity to fix any of the following issues:
Excessively cheesy play, including, but not limited to:
Running the same offensive play over and over.
Constant use of hurry up offense.
Position switches
No WR to TE
No OL to FB or TE
No HB to FB
No lining up HB at FB / WR at TE / OL at TE
Nano blitzing / undefendable blitzing.
“Pooch” punting so the returner has no chance to return.
First and Goal D, otherwise known as “f.a.g. D” (must rush/contain at least 3 every play)
Running up the score / stat padding (against humans or the CPU) Be reasonable. A score of is not 100-6 is not acceptable. Nor is having a player with 10 touchdown catches. There will be no hard-set rule for this, however punishment is at the discretion of the commissioner group. If you are up by 28+ points, you are forced to kick field goals/punt on 4th down.
Being disrespectful to a fellow owner.
Resigning Players: You can sign players on your team to the contracts they wish, falling into the rules for bonuses - ie: 6yr - $30m
CPU Restarts: No CPU Restarts. If there is a dropped connection you must document it with a picture and contact an admin. Failure to do so will result in harsher penalty.
Restart against CPU without proof to Admin:
You are set to auto (CPU) for your following game. The next two games, you must sit your QB, leading WR, #1 CB, leading tackler.
Any other acts which the commissioner deems detrimental to the league.
4th Down Rules
Anytime in the game, past the 50 yard line, within 2 yards or less of the 1st down, regardless of score.
Down fourteen (14) or more points in the second half, regardless of field position/distance.
Down by any amount of points in the fourth quarter, regardless of field position/distance.
Sportsmanship
If you are up by four (4) scores in the 4th you MUST change your offense to run the ball and/or use the clock. The opposing or losing team can play in the same type of manner, but must note that any points from defensive touchdowns can be scored and injuries can still occur if they decide to keep being competitive. If you are leading by twenty-eight (28) or more points against humans and CPU, you MUST kick FGs/punt on 4th downs.
Immediate removal from the league can and will happen if any user:
Quitting a Game
Doesn't play 4 games in a row without prior notice.
Ignores a warning and an action continues after.
Does any other act which the commissioner deems detrimental to the league.
DISCONNECT/AUTOPILOT PROCEDURES
Remember that the #1 goal is to get the game completed instead of having it simmed. Injuries are LIKELY to occur when a game is simmed.
Autopilot Procedures
If you will not be able to play your game, please set yourself to SAL, or tell a Mod to put you on SAL. Autos will be handed out in order to limit stat padding vs. the CPU.
Disconnect Procedures
1st thru 3rd Quarter Disconnect: Both teams can replay after two disconnects. After a third disconnect, add up scores from both games and the owner with the most points gets put on
Sim-A-Win
IE:
Game 1, Dolphins leading Bills 24 - 14.
Game 2, Dolphins leading Bills 35 - 3.
Since the total for the Dolphins (59) is greater than the Bills (17), the Dolphins will be put on
S-A-W
Using example above, It’s the 2nd Quarter: 3 Mins left: Bills down 24-14 and the game disconnects. At this point, since it’s your 1st attempt you’re still required to attempt to replay a full game. In the case of an early blowout the winning team has the right to request the auto. If the two teams can not come to an agreement contact the mod team for a ruling.
4th Quarter Disconnect
The above rule is applied all the way up to 3:00 mins left in the 4th Quarter. Meaning that you will be required to restart the game if a disconnection happens.
Once the game reaches 2:59 mins left in the 4th Quarter, the following instructions are to be followed after the FIRST disconnect.
If the score difference is 10 pts or more, the win will be awarded to the team in the lead. The team who gets the win will be placed on Sim-A-Win and injuries will be turned off
Sim-A-Win - An owner will be awarded a S-A-W if the game is won and there is a disconnect. Injuries will be turned off for the sim.
They can also be handed out in a situation of scheduling conflicts at discretion of the Moderation Team.
Disconnecting During Gameplay: Purposely disconnecting during a matchup will not be tolerated. Anyone found to have disconnected out of poor sportsmanship is subject to immediate dismissal from the league. It is understandable if your connection is lost (it happens to all of us on occasion), but disconnecting because you are losing or an important player is injured is an act of poor sportsmanship. All suspect disconnections will be investigated by the league.
FREE AGENCY/TRADE RULES
Everyone needs to run their team as if they are playing for twenty (20) seasons.
FREE AGENCY
Once a player hits Free Agency any member of the league can attempt to sign them to a contract. The MAX deal for any FA is 4yrs. The Bonus offered to any player cannot be worth more than 50% of the Total Value of the contract -
IE: $20m Total Contract with $12m Bonus, is not allowed.
This does not apply to rookie contracts or pre-existing contracts that were negotiated by the CPU.
TRADING
All perspective trades MUST go through the mod team before being accepted in game. This is to ensure that all trades are fair and that no team gets majorly fleeced. The mod team will look at every angle of a trade and run it though the Trade Calculator in order to make an unbiased decision.
NO mod who is involved with the trade can vote on a trade. This is in order to create a unbiased system. Should the league think the trade was blocked due to bias, the vote of the trade must be made public, if the league chooses to vote on it and majority rules in favor of it.
CPU Trading is NOT allowed.

OWNER SWAPPING IN PURE MADDEN
You are allowed to swap teams with another owner if both agree when switching to a new game. We try to make sure everyone gets their favorite team. Once you control a team and the league has started you are locked into that team (until league events dictate otherwise).

These rules will be sent to every current member, and every new member that joins. Ignorance is NOT an excuse. After you are sent the rules you are expected to read and follow them. Failure to do so will result in punishment/removal from the league.
